Tripski MCP docs
Overview, connect steps, example prompts, permissions, limits, troubleshooting, and safety.
1. Overview
Tripski is your trip planner and travel diary. An AI agent can connect over MCP to ask about your itinerary, places, and expenses — and update trips when you ask. Tripski is the source of truth.
2. Connect step-by-step
Works with Cursor and other MCP clients (ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, or a compatible CLI).
- Open your MCP client
- Add server URL: https://mcp.tripski.app/mcp
- Sign in with Tripski in the browser (OAuth)
- Ask something about a trip you already have in the app
3. Example prompts
Recall
- “Where did I eat cheesecake in Tokyo?”
- “How much did I spend on my Europe trip?”
- “Where did we stay in Kyoto?”
- “What’s on day 2?”
Update
- “Add dinner at Katz’s to Saturday.”
- “Save Ichiran in Osaka to my bucket list.”
- “Split the €86 taxi with Mina.”
- “Mark the museum plan visited.”
4. Permissions / scopes

- Expenses (separate permission)
Ratings and expenses are not implied by each other or by stops.
5. Limits & hard no’s

- Discovery not public
7. Safety / data
